Former NBA player Dwight Howard has been accused of sexual assault by Stephen Harper, who met Howard in May 2021 through social media.

Harper alleges that on July 19, 2021, Howard invited him to his residence in Georgia and that Howard wanted to have sex with Harper and another man dressed as a female "kitten." Harper said he was uncomfortable with the offer and declined, but Howard told him to "do whatever" and that he "would enjoy it."

Howard denied the allegations, saying the sex was consensual. His attorney, Justin Bailey, said the sexual relationship was publicized for "profit" and that Howard wanted to "expose the truth in court."

Harper's lawyer, Olga Izmailova, said a "proper and thorough investigation" had been conducted before the lawsuit was filed.
